Gordes is proper countryside — a rental car is strongly recommended either way you fly in.
We fell for this place immediately — a 16th-century farmhouse that's been an artist's home since 1964, split into two wings each with their own kitchen and living room, set in three hectares of garden with an infinity pool and pool house. There's plenty of room for everyone.
Think black tie optional — suits and cocktail dresses, gowns and jackets. We'll be celebrating on stone terraces and gravel garden paths, so choose shoes you can stand, stroll and dance in. September evenings in Provence can cool off, so a light layer for after dark won't go astray.

We already know who's celebrating with us on the day — this is just to sort out your stay and your plate.
