Getting There

Gordes is proper countryside — a rental car is strongly recommended either way you fly in.

From Nice

✈ ~2h30 by car
  1. Fly into Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE)
  2. Drive: A8 west, then A7/A51 toward Avignon, exit via D900 & D2 into Gordes
  3. Or train + car: TGV to Avignon (~2h40), pick up a rental car, ~45 min drive to Gordes

From Marseille

✈ ~1h15 by car
  1. Fly into Marseille Provence (MRS)
  2. Drive: A7 north toward Avignon, exit at Cavaillon, follow D2 into Gordes
  3. Or train + car: TGV to Avignon (~35 min), pick up a rental car, ~45 min drive to Gordes

Think black tie optional — suits and cocktail dresses, gowns and jackets. We'll be celebrating on stone terraces and gravel garden paths, so choose shoes you can stand, stroll and dance in. September evenings in Provence can cool off, so a light layer for after dark won't go astray.
